Dear friends - I'm incredibly excited to bring this to you! We've been working on making this original, content-rich, full-day workshop happen for some time. So I’m glad to announce that the absolutely amazing Shannon K. Dougherty is coming to Washington, DC just for this workshop.
☛ THE WORKSHOP
In this workshop, photographers will learn a number of aspects of creating quality, artistic portrait sessions, including how to create an artistic studio set, selecting the right talent, props, etc, communicating effectively with clients, models, HMUAs and other artists on set.
Photographers will also experience HANDS-ON artistic STUDIO shoots + HANDS-ON artistic OUTDOOR photo shoots! Everyone will have the opportunity to shoot with 2 delightful models - with 4 separate looks/themes!
☛ ABOUT SHANNON
Shannon is a remarkably creative artist from St. Louis. She started in the mediums of painting and drawing and then turned her interests to photography. She was mostly influenced by conceptual and portrait photography. Her work primarily is in portrait and editorial photography that has been published for national and international magazines.
Her awards include: 2011-Award winner at Foundry Art Centre for 'Black & White Photography' exhibition, 2012- Featured Photographer at Art St. Louis for 'Blur' exhibition.
Publications: Vogue Italia, Elegant Magazine, Eloque Magazine, Shutter Magazine, Féroce, Creator’s Magazine, Art of Portrait.
